Steven Universe Cosplay Collection
Steven’s original outfit consists of a red or salmon-pink T-shirt with a large yellow star, cuffed blue jeans and red flip-flops. Add a dark curly wig and pink shield to make the simple costume more recognizable.
Steven’s pink gemstone is embedded in his navel. Create it with a flat pink costume jewel attached beneath the shirt using skin-safe adhesive or a transparent strap.
Cut a large five-pointed star from yellow felt or heat-transfer vinyl and attach it to the center of a red T-shirt. Yellow fabric paint and a reusable stencil also work well.
Steven’s primary summoned weapon is the large pink shield inherited from Rose Quartz. Rose’s sword is more commonly carried by Connie, so the shield is the more accurate prop for a Steven costume.
Older Steven wears a pink varsity jacket with white trim, blue jeans and salmon-colored sandals. He wears a light blue star shirt in Steven Universe: The Movie and a black star shirt in Steven Universe Future.
Dress Steven in his star shirt, jeans and sandals, then give Connie a dark blue combat outfit, red waist sash and lightweight sword. The pairing can also reference Stevonnie, the fusion formed by Steven and Connie.
