Eddie Cosplay: At a Glance
ABOUT EDDIE:
Eddie, portrayed by Meat Loaf, is initially introduced as a motorcycle-riding delivery boy, he becomes a tragic figure after being transformed into a brain-damaged zombie by Dr. Frank-N-Furter, who removes half of his brain to create Rocky. Eddie’s charm and musical talent shine through in his lively performance of “Hot Patootie – Bless My Soul.”
1. JACKET – Begin your Eddie cosplay with either a ripped, sleeveless denim or leather jacket.
2. T-SHIRT – Choose your favorite band tee (preferably black) and get ready to rock like only Meat Loaf can!
3. JEANS – You will want a pair of traditional blue and lightly ripped denim jeans.
4. BRACELETS – These punk studded bracelets are optional but they certainly go well with the rest of this outfit.
5. TATTOO – You could either draw your own fake tattoo to better match Eddie’s or use a similar skull-and-bones motif like this one.
6. FOOTWEAR – We felt these motorcycle punk-inspired boots were simply perfect for this Eddie costume!
7. FAKE SCAR – Finally, this fake scar kit includes everything you need to recreate Eddie’s head injury including skin wax, fake blood, and a molding tool.
Poor Eddie, he got shafted more than most by Frank-N-Furter. Still, this hugely memorable performance from the late-great Meat Loaf is part of what made The Rocky Horror Show so special.
