Margo Gru, the eldest and most mature of the Gru sisters, is like the responsible older sibling you wish you had. With her brown hair tied back in a ponytail and a no-nonsense attitude, she’s always ready to keep her sisters in line. Margo is the voice of reason in the chaotic world of the Grus, often rolling her eyes at her sisters’ antics but still showing them love and care. Voiced by Miranda Cosgrove, Margo’s dry wit and sassiness make her a fan favorite in the Despicable Me franchise.

How To Dress Like Margo Gru

1. BLAZER – Start your Margo Gru costume with a dark green or brown blazer.

2. SHIRT – Add a white dress shirt, in a size-up than you would normally wear so it will stick out slightly under your tee.

3. SKIRT – Next, you will need a pleated, plaid skirt in navy blue and red.

4. TEE – Next, a black graphic tee is needed. We could not find an exact match to the one worn by Margo so we just went with something similar.

5. GLASSES – Margo wears a pair of rectangle frame glasses in black, blue light glasses are perfect if you already have perfect eyesight!

6. SOCKS – We went for a pair of white tube socks with black stripes across the top, exactly like the ones Margo wears.

7. SHOES – Finally, a pair of red canvas high tops is all that’s needed to round it this adorable outfit!
