Lilo & Stitch Costume Collection
A female Stitch costume needs a blue outfit and Stitch’s oversized ears. Add a light-blue belly panel, pink ear details, a tail or an Experiment 626 accessory to make the character immediately recognizable.
Start with a blue dress or combine a blue top with a skirt, shorts or leggings. Finish the outfit with a Stitch ear headband, blue shoes and optional light-blue felt attached to the front as a belly patch.
Cut two long ears from blue felt or craft foam, then add smaller pink inner-ear pieces. Create Stitch’s distinctive notches, reinforce the ears with cardboard or wire and attach them securely to a blue headband.
Stitch and Angel make a recognizable Disney couples or best-friend costume. Use blue clothing and an Experiment 626 detail for Stitch, then pink clothing and an Experiment 624 accessory for Angel. Lilo, Nani, Jumba and Pleakley can expand the idea into a group costume.
Stitch was created by Dr. Jumba Jookiba and originally designated Experiment 626. Adding “626” to a necklace, badge, handbag or temporary tattoo gives a female Stitch costume an accurate character reference.
Stitch is a genetically engineered alien, although Lilo initially adopts him believing that he is a strange-looking dog. His blue coloring, retractable antennae, extra arms and unusual ears reflect his true alien appearance.
