Zoidberg is the eccentric, incompetent alien doctor employed at Planet Express in Futurama. Voiced by Billy West, Zoidberg is depicted as a crustacean-like Decapodian who is woefully ignorant of human anatomy, despite his medical credentials. Despite his bumbling nature and constant mistreatment by his coworkers, Zoidberg is a kind-hearted, sensitive character who simply wants to be accepted. His character serves as a parody of the perceived wealth and automatic respect afforded to modern doctors.
