Peter Griffin is the bumbling, often idiotic patriarch of the Griffin family in the animated sitcom Family Guy. He is portrayed as a loud, destructive, and frequently drunk middle-aged man with a low IQ who often gets into absurd and outrageous situations due to his poor judgment and short attention span. Despite his flaws, Peter is generally well-intentioned and cares deeply for his family, even if he struggles to express it. He is known for his outrageous antics, random cutaway gags, and long-running feuds with his archenemy Ernie the Giant Chicken.
