Raiden Costume Guide

1. GHI – The first thing you will need for a Raiden cosplay is a traditional karate ghi.

2. SURCOAT – You could always make your own robes if you want true authenticity but if you want to save time then this medieval surcoat is a good option.

3. BO STAFF – A real Bo Staff is awesome but they aren’t cheap, a wooden broom handle like this is a great alternative.

4. HAT – One of the most recognizable aspects of Raiden’s original design was his traditional Chinese straw hat.

5. FABRIC – Twill ribbon can be used to wrap your lower legs like Raiden.

6. ARM WRAPS – You could also use some black ribbon to wrap your arms or these compression sleeves.

7. SASH – A pirate cosplay sash also works remarkably well for this look.

8. MASK – Start with a black balaclava and cut the nose and mouth section out to recreate Raiden’s mask.

9. SHOES – Finally, you will need a simple pair of white loafers and your outfit is officially complete!
