Start with layered dark-brown Jedi robes, matching trousers, a wide utility belt and tall brown boots. Add Anakin’s right-hand gauntlet, wavy brown hair, facial scar and blue lightsaber to recreate his Revenge of the Sith appearance.
Anakin’s robes can look black in darker scenes, but his Episode III costume is primarily dark brown. Using different brown shades for the tunic, tabards, trousers and cloak creates a more screen-accurate Anakin Skywalker costume.
Anakin wears the gauntlet on his right hand and forearm. It covers the cybernetic replacement he received after Count Dooku severed his right arm during Attack of the Clones.
Draw a thin, slightly uneven scar over the right eye using red-brown costume makeup or a cosmetic pencil. Blend the edges lightly so it resembles an older scar rather than a fresh wound, and always patch-test makeup before applying it near the eye.
Use a blue lightsaber for Anakin’s Jedi costume. Although the character eventually becomes Darth Vader, Anakin carries a blue-bladed lightsaber throughout most of Revenge of the Sith.
Padmé Amidala is the most recognizable Anakin Skywalker couples costume partner. For a larger Star Wars group, add Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka Tano, Captain Rex, Emperor Palpatine or Darth Vader.
