Home Alone Costume Collection
Layer an oversized brown tweed coat over a distressed gray sweater, patterned midi skirt and burgundy shawl. Add a worn fabric hat, knitted gloves, crossbody bag and several fake pigeons to complete the costume.
The Pigeon Lady wears a weathered fabric bucket-style hat and an oversized brown coat. Look for secondhand wool, tweed or similarly textured pieces rather than clean, modern outerwear.
Secure lightweight foam or plastic pigeons to the coat and hat using thread, safety pins, removable clips or small pieces of hook-and-loop tape. Avoid heavy bird decoys, sharp fixings or anything that could fall from the shoulders.
