1. COAT – We started our Milo Thatch costume with a brown peacoat befitting such a legendary explorer.
2. PANTS – Next, get yourself some khaki or light green trousers. Combat or cargo pants are a great option.
3. SWEATER – Add a thick knitted sweater with a button collar.
4. BOOTS – Combat boots are a great option but anything that looks rugged and reliable will work.
5. GAITERS – In WWI, soldiers would often wear canvas gaiters as extra protection around their lower legs. It appears Milo also wears something similar.
6. MESSENGER BAG – Milo wears a crossbody messenger bag made out of what could be either leather or canvas.
7. GLASSES – Everybody loves a nerd. Especially when that nerd is secretly JACKED, much like Clark Kent, your round wireframe glasses will conceal your true secret identity.
8. JOURNAL – The book that kickstarted it all and guided the way to the Lost Empire of Atlantis, Shepherd’s Journal.

Atlantis Costume Collection
Wear a brown overcoat over a khaki knit top, then add muted-green or khaki trousers and rugged boots. Round wire-style glasses, a crossbody satchel and a small journal provide Milo’s strongest accessories. The guide’s canvas gaiters add expedition detail, but the glasses and book do more to identify the character.
Use a small brown notebook or cover an existing book with removable brown paper or fabric. Add simple decorative markings inspired by the film reference, keeping the cover readable in photographs. The book only needs to suggest an old expedition journal, so a carefully finished cover is more useful than elaborate interior pages.
