Black Noir Cosplay: At a Glance
ABOUT BLACK NOIR:
1. BODY SUIT – Our Black Noir costume starts with a full body suit in, you guessed it, black. This will form the basis of your look as we add more accessories and props.
2. TACTICAL GEAR – This tactical gear set, while not identical to what Noir wears, is a very close approximation. Included are chest and shoulder plates, elbow protection, and a codpiece.
3. MASK – This mask has been designed specifically for a Black noir cosplay and looks great over the hood of our full-body suit.
4. KNEE PADS – The last part of our tactical gear set is a pair of matching knee protectors.
5. BOOTS – You will want to find yourself a pair of black combat boots or a similarly chunky and heavy-duty set of footwear.
6. KATANA – Wear would any self-respecting, murder-loving Ninja be without a trusted katana (prop) and scabbard on his back?
7. GLOVES – Keep the blood of the innocents from dirtying up your knuckles with some durable combat gloves.
8. KNIFE – This toy knife is entirely safe but incredibly realistic looking, and can be attached to your suit with the included sheath.
9. SPRAY PAINT – Finally, give your Black Noir costume that box-fresh glow with some semi-gloss spray paint. This will also ensure all your accessories have the same color tone.
Unlike the ninjas of old, Black Noir lives by no code but his own. His love for savagery and murder is overshadowed only by his fear of nut-based confectionery.

Begin with a fitted black bodysuit and add a tactical vest, lightweight armor panels, knee pads and a utility belt. Finish the costume with black combat boots, gloves and Black Noir’s full-face mask.
Black Noir wears a black tactical helmet that completely conceals his head and face. Choose a purpose-made cosplay mask with tinted eye openings, adequate ventilation and enough visibility to move around safely.
Black Noir is an expert with knives, swords and other bladed weapons. A foam katana or plastic knife can complete the costume, but any prop should be clearly fake and permitted by the event or convention you are attending.
The original Black Noir loses the ability to speak after suffering severe injuries during Payback’s confrontation with Soldier Boy. The replacement Black Noir introduced later in the series can speak, despite wearing an almost identical costume.
Black Noir possesses superhuman strength, speed, durability and accelerated healing. He is also a highly trained martial artist who specializes in stealth, close combat and bladed weapons.
Black Noir works well in a Seven group costume with Homelander, Starlight, Queen Maeve, A-Train and the Deep. A Black Noir and Homelander costume also creates a recognizable duo for two fans of The Boys.
