ABOUT SOLDIER BOY:

Soldier Boy is the powerful, arrogant superhero from The Boys, serving as a twisted parody of Captain America. Portrayed by Jensen Ackles, Soldier Boy is depicted as a reckless, egotistical figure who was created by Vought during World War II to fight the Nazis. Despite his superhuman strength and durability, Soldier Boy is shown to be cowardly, gullible, and willing to commit heinous acts. As one of the first Vought-created superheroes, Soldier Boy’s backstory and actions explore the dark side of American patriotism and the corrupting influence of unchecked power.

How To Dress Like Soldier Boy

1. SHIRT – This Soldier Boy costume takes a little more work than most but it definitely worth it in the end! So, we started with a green combat shirt.

2. VEST – Over our shirt, we chose to go for a black tactical vest with velcro strips which looks remarkably similar to the one worn by Soldier Boy. If you are feeling crafty, you can personalize this further with green and gold accents.

3. PANTS – A heavy-duty pair of combat or tactical pants paired with the combat shirt to make the basis for this look.

4. SHIELD – Soldier Boy’s immediately recognizable shield could more than give Captain America’s a run for its money in the style department. This exact replica is an absolute must for any Soldier Boy cosplay!

5. KNEE PADS – Fix a couple of protective knee pads over your combat pants.

6. BOOTS – For the footwear, we went for some chunky black combat boots. Another option is to use Renaissance or WWI-inspired boot toppers.

7. TOY KNIFE – Soldier Boy likes to get up close and personal with his kills, that’s why he keeps a knife strapped to his side at all times.

8. GLOVES – Fingerless tactical gloves are a must to prevent the blood of your enemies from dirtying up your knuckles.

9. BELTS – Finally, strap a couple of tactical belts to your thigh and your Soldier Boy costume is officially ready!
