Homelander is the megalomaniacal, sociopathic leader of the superhero team The Seven in the Amazon Prime series The Boys. Portrayed by Antony Starr, Homelander is depicted as a powerful, narcissistic figure who presents a heroic public image but is secretly cruel, manipulative, and willing to commit horrific acts. Beneath his all-American persona, Homelander is driven by a deep insecurity, a lack of empathy, and a desire for control and adulation. As the main antagonist, Homelander represents the dark side of superhero worship and the corrupting influence of unchecked power.
