Michael “Mikey” Blumberg is a kind-hearted and philosophical member of the Recess gang. He is overweight and known for his sensitivity and forgiveness. Mikey has a talent for writing poetry and an incredible singing voice. Despite his imposing size, he is the moral compass of the group. He is good at playing goalie in soccer because of his size and strength. Mikey believes in peace, and is considered a “sweet-souled giant”
