ABOUT MURIEL FINSTER:
Muriel Finster is an elderly, assertive assistant teacher at Third Street School who monitors students during recess. She is an authoritarian figure feared by the students, seeking to maintain order and keep them in line. Randall Weems, the playground snitch, assists her by reporting any misbehavior. Despite being at odds with the students, Finster has shown that she genuinely cares about their safety. She is principled, ethical, responsible, and self-controlled, striving for integrity and high standards
