The Lion King Costume Collection
Start with a brown onesie, darker gloves and floppy animal ears, then add a warthog-style nose and small tusk details. A short spiked hairstyle can suggest Pumbaa’s mane. Keep the outfit soft and rounded, using the face accessories to distinguish the character from an ordinary brown animal costume.
The broad snout, tusks and upright mane are the details that turn a brown animal outfit into Pumbaa. Pair a costume pig nose with small pale tusks and floppy ears, keeping their proportions playful. These features matter more than covering every visible area with fur or finding an exact character onesie.
Small curved tusks can be shaped from lightweight craft foam and attached securely beside a costume snout or to a headband arrangement. Keep them outside the mouth so the accessory is easy to remove. An exaggerated but compact shape works well with the soft brown onesie and floppy ears.
Timon is Pumbaa’s natural costume partner, creating the familiar Lion King duo with contrasting meerkat and warthog features.
