Scar Costume Guide

1. COAT – Feel like the king of the jungle with a luxuriously thick fur coat. This is perfect for recreating Scar’s lion fur, as well as keeping warm on those cold Halloween nights

2. SLIPPERS – This is an optional extra but can really tie your whole Scar costume together. Plus, how can we pass up an opportunity to wear slippers in public and have it be socially acceptable?

3. PANTS – For our outfit, we went for a pair of super soft pajama pants in a camel brown.

4. WIG – You will find a treasure trove of 70s and 80s-inspired rock-and-roll wigs available online. These are perfect for Scars Mane; big, bold, jet black, and shaggy.

5. CLAWS – buy yourself a set of cool rhinestone-encrusted fake claws. Just note that these are not size-adjustable and many people (ourselves included) have found the size runs a little small.

6. MAKEUP – If you want to do your own Scar costume makeup, pick yourself up a quality primary color face paint palette. Make sure to look for paints that are hypoallergenic and non-toxic to avoid irritating the skin.

7. SCAR KIT – Additionally, you could also use a scar wax kit for a more realistic or gruesome look.
