5. BELT – Held up by a black belt with an understated buckle.

6. SOCKS – One of our favorite accessories for this look, a pair of white crew socks with retro blue and red stripes.

7. SHOES – Black oxford shoes work perfectly with this outfit, just make sure they’re shined so much that you can see your face reflected in them!

8. BURGER – Round out your Spongebob costume with a delicious, juicy, irresistible Krabby Patty.

ABOUT SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS:

SpongeBob SquarePants: the lovable, yellow sponge who lives in a pineapple under the sea! He’s got the energy of a hyperactive jellyfish, the optimism of a sunbeam, and the intelligence of… well, a sea sponge!

With his trusty spatula in hand, he flips patties at the Krusty Krab with unmatched enthusiasm. His laugh is contagious, his adventures are endless, and his friendship with Patrick Star is as solid as a rock… or, you know, as solid as a starfish can be!

So dive into the hilarity and absurdity of Bikini Bottom with SpongeBob – where even the most mundane tasks become underwater escapades!

PATRICK STAR COSTUME

2

Patrick Star next to a pink morphsuit, replica shorts, pink trainers, and other costume suggestions.

1. MORPHSUIT – For our Patrick Star costume, we started with a pink morph suit.

2. SHORTS – Replica Patrick shorts in green with purple flower decal is a non-negotiable for this look!

3. TRAINERS – Add a pair of matching pink sneakers to go with your full-body suit.

4. TIE – Because Patrick is nothing if not a man of style, a blue tie is an excellent addition to this super basic look.

5. CUFFLINKS – Finally, these stand-alone cufflinks are a hilarious edition that round off this outfit perfectly.

ABOUT PATRICK STAR:

Patrick Star: the pink starfish with a brain that’s often on vacation! He’s the master of leisure, the king of naps, and the undisputed champion of doing absolutely nothing – and he’s proud of it!

With his perpetual cluelessness and insatiable appetite for ice cream, he’s the ultimate embodiment of carefree living. Yet somehow, in his own peculiar way, he manages to stumble into adventures alongside his best buddy SpongeBob.

So grab your popcorn (or should I say coral bits?) and join Patrick in his hilariously clueless escapades under the sea!

SQUIDWARD TENTACLES COSTUME

3

Left: Squidward Tentacles. Right: Green morphsuit, brown shirt, sailors cap, and clarinet.

1. FULL-BODY SUIT – Start with a full-body morhpsuit in a dark green.

2. SHIRT – Add a short-sleeve brown polo shirt for Squidward’s iconic no-pants outfit.

3. SAILORS CAP – Although Squidward hates his job at the Krusty Krab, there’s no denying this sailor’s cap adds a bit of pazzaz to his otherwise drab everyday clothes.

4. CLARINET – Finally, there’s nothing Squidward enjoys more than kicking back and belting out a few ‘choice’ notes from his trusty clarinet.

ABOUT SQUIDWARD TENTACLES:

Squidward Tentacles: the perpetually disgruntled, clarinet-playing cephalopod who dreams of a life beyond Bikini Bottom. With a nose more prominent than his social skills, he’s the poster child for “I’d-rather-be-anywhere-else-ism.”

Despite his constant eye rolls and exasperated sighs, Squidward’s attempts at sophistication often backfire into slapstick comedy. Whether he’s indulging in interpretive dance or inadvertently joining SpongeBob’s shenanigans, Squidward’s misadventures are a symphony of sarcasm and calamity.

So tune in for a dose of Squidward’s sour notes – the grumpier, the funnier!

6. HAIR CLIP – A pink flower hair clip mimics the one Sandy wears on top of her fishbowl helmet.

7. HELMET – Bikini Bottom was not made for us surface dwellers, so keep oxygenated with this fun and goofy fishbowl helmet.

ABOUT SANDY CHEEKS:

Sandy Cheeks: the tough-as-nails, squirrelly scientist from the Lone Star State who’s as Texan as a tumbleweed in a cowboy hat! With a love for karate and a knack for inventing, she’s Bikini Bottom’s resident Renaissance squirrel.

Whether she’s wrangling jellyfish or outsmarting sea critters with her genius inventions, Sandy brings a splash of Lone Star charm to the underwater antics. And let’s not forget her signature spacesuit – because who doesn’t want to see a squirrel in a helmet underwater?

So y’all saddle up and join Sandy for a rootin’ tootin’ good time in the deep blue sea!

5. EARS – Finish your outfit with these cute and furry squirrel ears!

2. SHIRT – Next, add a short-sleeve blue work shirt.

3. SHORTS – Pair that with a pair of blue denim shorts.

4. BELT – Although Mr. Krabs is not an outwardly flash character, his gold buckle hints at his obsession with shiny things.

5. CRAB ACCESSORIES – Entirely optional but a comically large pair of crab hands and a matching hat certainly rank up the humor factor of this outfit.

6. MONEYBAG – Finally, you’re gonna want somewhere to keep all those stacks of cash that are so important to you!

ABOUT MR KRABS:

Mr. Krabs: the penny-pinching, money-loving crustacean with a heart as golden as his treasure chest! He’s the Bikini Bottom entrepreneur who puts the “crabby” in Krabby Patty.

With dollar signs for eyes and a nose for business sharper than a clamshell, he’s always scheming up ways to squeeze a few extra clams out of his loyal customers. But beneath his crusty exterior lies a soft spot for his daughter Pearl and his beloved Krusty Krab.

So grab your wallets and dive into Mr. Krabs’ world of capitalism, where every day is a sale and every penny is a prize!

PEARL COSTUME

7

Pearl from Spongebob next to a pink leoatard and tutu, cheerleader pom poms, white heels, lipstick and fabric paint.

1. LEOTARD – Pearl Krabs, like many typical high schoolers, throws herself headfirst into her extra-curricular activities. In this case, it is a love of cheerleading that really drives Pearl.

2. TUTU – Pair your pink leotard with a matching pink tutu.

3. POM POMS – Seed joy wherever you go with a pair of frilly red cheerleading pom poms!

4. HEELS – Pearl wears a pair of adorable white booties.

5. FABRIC PAINT – We used pink fabric paint to draw the ‘P’ onto our pink leotard.

6. LIPSTICK – Finish your Pearl costume with a deep rouge lipstick.

ABOUT PEARL:

Pearl Krabs: the fabulous, fashion-forward teenage whale with a flair for drama and a penchant for shopping sprees! She’s the apple of her penny-pinching father’s eye, but she’s more interested in designer purses than Krabby Patties.

With a personality as bubbly as a seafoam frappuccino, she’s always ready for a beachside bash or a shopping spree at the Bikini Bottom Mall. Despite her size, Pearl’s heart is as big as her appetite for adventure – and her shoe collection!

So slip on your flip-flops and join Pearl for a whale of a good time under the sea!

PLANKTON COSTUME

8

Plankton from Spongebob next to a green morphsuit, eye patch, insect antennae, chum bucket, and laser prop.

1. MORPHSUIT – Start your Plankton costume with a green full-body spandex suit.

2. EYEPATCH – As Bikini Bottom’s resident cyclops, you will want to hone your depth of vision with one eye trained on the prize – the Krabby Patty formula!

3. ANTENNAE – Add these insect antennae to compensate for your lack of vision.

4. BUCKET – The Chum Bucket might not hold a candle to the Krusty Krab and that might have something to do with the way Plankton tries to serve his food in metal buckets.

5. TOY LASER – Always ready to take on his adversary, MR Krabs, arm yourself with a futuristic laser gun like Plankton’s.

ABOUT PLANKTON:

Plankton: the pint-sized, power-hungry plankton with a Napoleon complex and a big dream – to steal the Krabby Patty formula! Armed with diabolical schemes and a robotic sidekick, he’s the tiny terror of Bikini Bottom.

But despite his minuscule size, Plankton’s determination is as big as his ambition. Whether he’s concocting evil plans in his laboratory or getting thwarted by SpongeBob’s unintentional hilarity, Plankton’s escapades are always a laugh riot.

So join this microscopic mischief-maker for a side-splitting journey through the depths of underwater villainy!

MRS. PUFF COSTUME

9

Mrs Puff from Spongebob next to a red skirt, blue shirt, heels, sailor cap, and bolo tie.

1.  SKIRT – Start your Mrs Puff costume with a cute red mini-skirt.

2. SHIRT – Add a short-sleeve button-down shirt in a dark blue.

3. SHOES – Next, a pair of chunky red heels is a must for this look.

4. SAILORS HAT – Like many of the residents of Bikini Bottom, Mrs Puff’s sailor hat is a nod to her underwater origins.

5. BOLO TIE – For a touch of Southern class, round out your outfit with this super cool bolo tie.

ABOUT MRS PUFF:

Mrs. Puff: the perpetually anxious, pufferfish driving instructor with a penchant for nervous breakdowns! She’s the undersea equivalent of a frazzled teacher trying to wrangle a classroom of unruly students.

With each failed attempt to teach SpongeBob how to drive, she inflates like a balloon of stress! But despite her trials and tribulations, Mrs. Puff’s determination to educate her aquatic pupils is as resilient as her ability to puff up.

So buckle up and join Mrs. Puff for a hilariously bumpy ride through the chaotic streets of Bikini Bottom!

DENNIS COSTUME

10

Dennis, the antagonist from the Spongebob Squarepants Movie, DIY costume guide.

1.  COWBOY HAT – The antagonist of the Spongebob Squarepants live-action movie, Dennis’s black cowboy hat shows that this character means business.

2. HANDKERCHIEF – Pair with a cowboy-style red handkerchief, menacingly concealing your mouth.

3. SUNGLASSES – Like any cool baddy, Dennis rocks a pair of tinted aviator glasses whether he is indoors or out.

4. LEATHER JACKET – Any excuse to wear a sleeveless leather motorcycle jacket is a positive in our books.

5. T-SHIRT – Pair your jacket with a plain gray tee and you’re looking good!

6. JEANS – Pull your darkest jeans from the closet and your Dennis costume is really starting to take shape.

7. BELT – Dennis wears a black belt with a prominent skull buckle.

8. BOOTS – A heavy pair of boots is just what you need to stomp that pesky Spongebob Squarepants and Patrick Star.

9. GLOVES – We went for a fingerless motorcycle glove to imitate the one Dennis wears on his left hand.

10. TOY KNIFE – Strap a toy knife to a necklace for what has to be the most badass and adult look from Spongebob Squarepants.

11. SHOULDER PADS – Finish your Dennis outfit with a set of motorcycle shoulder pads.

ABOUT DENNIS:

Dennis: the tough-as-nails, brawny hitman with a teeny-tiny problem – a Napoleon complex bigger than his biceps! He’s Plankton’s muscle-for-hire.

With a voice deeper than the Mariana Trench and a scowl that could curdle milk, Dennis is the undersea thug who’s more likely to trip over his own fins than catch his target.

So watch out, Bikini Bottom – this hulking henchman might flex his muscles, but he’s also a walking disaster waiting to happen!
