Ryu was the first lead protagonist of Street Fighter when it debuted all the way back in 1987 and he held that title until very recently, when Luke Sullivan dethroned him.
As a Martial Arts specialist, Ryu’s character design draws inspiration from several disciplines. From his classic Karate gi to his samurai-inspired headpiece, there is no denying this is one seriously COOL look.

Cammy was first introduced in Street Fighter II as a brainwashed assassin under the influence of the villainous Shadaloo organization. Her character has since evolved and she remains hugely popular for fans of the series.
We create Cammy’s original costume design with a spicy green leotard, red driving gloves, chunky combat boots, and a few other must-have accessories.

Chun Li was the first playable female character to be introduced to the Street Fighter franchise. With significant Eastern influence, her character design is a blend of classic Anime and contemporary fashion.
Dress like Chun Li with a one-piece outfit, knee-high white boots, and vintage hair ties. See our complete DIY cosplay guide for everything you need!

As Street Fighter looked to entice a new generation of young gamers to the franchise, Luke Sullivan was brought in to breathe some new life into a game that is almost 40 years old.
Instead of Ryu’s emphasis on classic Martial Art disciplines, Sullivan’s costume design in more modern, emphasizing the most popular fighting styles of today such as MMA and Kickboxing.

Marisa is another new fighter who was first introduced in Street Fighter 6. She is a hugely powerful combatant who uses her size and strength advantage to deadly effect.
This is hands-down one of our favorite costume designs from the new roster of characters. Like Luke, Marisa also draws heavy inspiration from MMA fighters but this time with a distinctive Ancient Roman twist.

Luke Sullivan might have had big boots to fill replacing Ryu as the franchise’s primary protagonist but the job of Johann ‘JP’ Petrovich was certainly no easier. Say goodbye to M. Bison, this is JP’s time.
Blending the military influences of the archetypal despots and dictators with the suit and formality of the modern CEO is a terrifying combination that works perhaps too well?
We’ve been kicking butt in Street Fighter for the better part of four decades and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Regardless of what you think of the series reboot, there’s no denying that it has added yet more iconic character designs to an already jam-packed roster of potentially awesome cosplay options.
So, all that is left is to choose your favorite character and use our step-by-step outfit guides to make your best cosplay yet!
